Our story
Chord Companion is built for the living room piano.
It started as a DIY "Chord Finder" system developed by a lifelong jazz musician and teacher to help his students recall chords.
We found most chord charts online showed dots on keys or highlighted keys on a diagram. The Chord Companion exposes the shared intervals of music and guides you directly on the instrument itself.
We refined and expanded it into a high quality set of wedge-behind-the-keys inserts plus ad-free access to a modern web application (downloadable to your device) that syncs your saved tunes across all your devices and makes shareable and printable tunes.
